AGRANA Fruit Polska also buys fresh fruit and vegetables as raw materials for the production of fruit and vegetable preparations both for use within our company and for our affiliated companies.

All fruit to be frozen is carefully selected for its size and maturity and compliance with safety and cleanliness standards and other quality requirements. After all stalks and leaves are removed fruit is sorted by size and then cleaned and inspected using physical, chemical, microbiological and sensory evaluation tests.  The whole process is based on a HACCP compliant plan of action, as a result of which we are able to make frozen fruit of the highest quality, which is then used to produce fruit preparations or shipped to our plants around the world.

AGRANA Fruit Polska has its own collection centres and well established supplier relationships with growers of Senga Sengana strawberries. Fruit quality is controlled from the time of picking in the field until delivery to our plant. All fruit that is delivered to our plants is frozen on the same day. All our fruit is traceable at all stages of production starting from the collection point.

We do not only buy and freeze strawberries. We are also a provider of freezing services for the most popular Polish fruit such as bilberries, black currants, stoned and unstoned cherries, apples, pears, plums and some vegetables including peppers and cucumbers.

Once frozen our fruit can be sorted again manually in order to improve its quality as required by the customer.
